Hard core supporters of this global warming, climate change, climate emergency cult are absolutely no different.
Are you talking about Preston Manning, Andrew Scheer, Scott Moe, Jason Kenney, Doug Ford who all say that human caused climate change is real and they have a plan to reduce emissions?

These guys are certainly hard core. Saskatchewan has spent billions of tax payers money on carbon capture and storage!

Manning even supports a carbon tax!

Now, after all the progress we made, you are back to where we started, with you screaming Consensus as the universal answer to dissenting information. This time, a consensus of a bunch of non-climate scientists, not even scientists in any field. How many times do we need to relearn the same simple lesson?

Thanks for pointing out the massive waste of tax payer money on CO2 capture, which leads us back to my previous question, in the real world where resources of all types are finite, and SLR is inevitable ( as we just established, thanks to your perseverance), do you think that spending billions on CO2 capture was wiser than spending that on adaptation efforts? Which will give the greatest ROI in the long run, and which will leave our economy and infrastructure less vulnerable to what is going to happen anyways?

Check out the part about ocean levels...……...

I watched a documentary about the threat that the Marshall Islands may disappear with climate change. The island is only as wide as a couple of homes and a sea wall keeps the ocean waves out. US has opened the door to their residents with open migration and jobs for them. Some have taken up life in America, but the mayor and her daughter have travelled the world demonstrating against CO2. What can one say?

Most of these scientists exist on the benevolence of public tax funds. They are socialist by nature. Thye have no job or purpose without those funds and making up climate data is the surest way to access funds off a politicized agenda. Why go do original research when you cna ride the multi decade scam. I imagine these guys look at their funding apps and say I can either submit something to watch a mouse for 10yrs, or I can ride the climate funding. Many of the so called scientists expanded their areas to cover the effects of climate change on whatever. So you will have a scientist who studies who knows what, algae or something, but then they will submit their funding app with the title The Effects of Climate Change on Algae and boom, approved. That's where the 97% of scientists agree fact comes from. Most of that group aren't even atmospheric scientists yet they agree with climate change.

Stop putting scientists on some pedestal. They are human. They exibit the same self interest as any group does.
Jazz, much earlier in this thread we had been discussing the politicization of science, and vice versa. Saw this article yesterday and thought it was timely.

The article isn't hardy worth reading, but the attitude indicated by the headline is demonstrative of the attitude we are up against.
