Some guys here south of Regina had crop in the ground last week in April. Some by the valley were a week earlier than that. Reseeding into no moisture doesn't sound fun. Our hypothetical big rain pushed out to June 10 now.

I know yellow mustard is very aggressive once established but this is hardly "established".

There is wild oats here! Maybe you don't have any? Dividing lines between quarters and neighbour's had wild oats up nearly two weeks ago already. Poplar are leafed out and even the late leafing carraganas are doing their thing.

This is Canada and frost risks exist.... some years you're fine, other's not so much.

            Been here, experienced it before.

              Heavy frost SE of Regina

              Thermometer showed -6.3 as low

Canola in real bad shape. Even lentils got surprisingly badly hurt.

Going to have to see about reseeding. Don’t see a reason to rush in, the weather is hot and dry and you would be seeding into dust anyway.

How can canola futures not be moving..seems like this was a widespread frost over much of southern sask.

Oh because all the media including the socialist farm newspaper , the seducer going on about the burdening supplies of canola in canada
This fairy tale is being repeated over and over
But wait now ; why is everyone taking every canola contract 4 months ahead of time
Neighbor hauled his august contract in seeding
Does anyone have an old crop canola contract that isnt gone ????????????
Hmmm, something doesnt add up ???....
Mr seducer , maybe do a story on that

                  The bins are empty.

Canola crop wasn't as big as advertised. over and over and over.

The BTOs didn't store and go south.

It was a total shit show.

Contracts for summer are filled at seeding and funny they phone almost every week to get cheap canola out of farmers hands. Ah, we have been played and played really good.

Stats Canada needed to get the numbers straight and made shit up to do it.

It's a game and farmers never win.
