Its just ugly cold out this morning -1 and a howling north wind that blows right through you.

Back In the 70's..our school always had Grad the first Friday of May..and it was crap weather most yrs..even if we started in April.. either loads of rain or snow..

Another 2 inches overnight.

Even the cows have had enough of this. Usually don’t need much bedding in May but everyday it’s been required. Good thing we have lots of carryover but it’s disappearing quickly.

Missing the coldest of the weather here - missing the moisture too. Way drier than we were this time last year and it was a wreck. The dust behind a neighbour spreading fertilizer on stubble this afternoon tells the story.

Neighbour that seeded Good Friday has wheat emerging albeit a bit patchy. This guy is a very good farmer so just the cold weather responsible.

It is cold here so maybe spray some Heat and achieve warm soil and AgCellence?

Minus 2 here I dont think it even got above freezing at all today, snowing tonight, quite white already. Was on a road trip today saw a couple seeding rigs going south of Calgary, maybe not as damp as we are but still snow banks from last weeks snow in the ditches. Not sure its worthwhile to be going with these temps but to each their own I guess.
