We just got going yesterday and hear lots of older guys will start around Monday. The ground freezes almost every night.

one field seeded two weeks ago across the valley has zero growth so far.

One larger outfit east of here has around 10,000 ac in so far . Not sure how that will turn out . May end up good who knows.
Just will be interesting to see what establishments will be like. There will be “germination” and seed treatment complaints most likely lol.
Long term forecasts at this time don’t show anything above 16c for the next 2 weeks . Hopefully that changes
April could go down as warmer than May .
As well , should warm up by the 20th or so by the looks of it 👍.

Bit of rain here, no gauge but I'd guess 3 tenths there's puddles anyway. Another couple inches of snow covering the ground this morning. It's definitely not wanting to warm up.
