I honestly don't see alot of support here for Trudeau but see people pointing out Conservstive/Republican shortcomings as well. Just balanced reporting.....
I think even the slightly left of center realize the current leadership and the government's direction aren't good.

Some of you guys sure don't see history the way it was.
Canada had very little debt until ......
1- Pierre Trudeau ran up a huge debt but didn't do much else.
2- Mulroney did not pay down much debt, but he did clean up the Great Lakes and get the NAFTA deal and do the dirty work to bring in the GST to help with the debt.
3- John Turner campaigned to kill NAFTA, it was going to destroy Canada.
4 - Chretien campaigned to kill the GST, Canadians hated it. Once he was elected he decided the GST was good and helped bring down some debt with the GST.
5- Martin continued paying down debt with the GST.
6- Harper continued paying down debt until Dion and Layton threatened to bring down Harper's government unless he spent $150 million on infrastructure to save the economy. At this time Harper should have let his government fall and went to the people for a mandate instead of giving in to Dion & Layton. I think at the time Harper could have beat Dion campaigning on that $150 million more debt.
7- Justin Trudeau gets elected spends like a drunken sailor. Here we are in 2018 with 1 Trillion dollars in debt.

So how much do you owe in total debt,I believe that is personal and gov debt.
When you average it out its not so scary as it sounds with the total number.
