    farming101, you nailed it,

"Reality is it is November and it is soaking wet. I think that is all the info a guy needs to make an assessment of how much crop is going to come off in this upcoming week."

SF3, do you have more than 20% of your seeded farm to harvest yet? I thought you were down to just a couple days?

kudos SF3 for your tribute and sun bursting pic. Ya, the sun will still come up.

Appreciated pars "notice post" stayed at the top with no new threads for the day.

Thanks Agriville admin for removing that jackhole thread posted late last night.

Yea some days I post quarters then some percentage! I hope to get to 14 quarters left tonight! We did 1000 acres roughly in October and dried it all

Guys doing any WET canola had more loss, concaves plugged, some gave up. No fun at all, yes crop is smaller in many ways. And spoiling in bins, keep an eye on stored too. If you were able to combine, you are drier. RP not taking deliveries of any canola combined in Oct, even if dried.

Thanks SF3 for the tribute. I wish I could have had a few beers with that fellow cotton. Been hanging around this site for more than a dozen years and truly feel connected to the many that share their opinions and thoughts.

We were one of the lucky ones to get wrapped up on the last day of September before the weather went to shit up here in the Peace.

Lots of crop up here out standing and in the swath with very little coming off in October. Making it more difficult as there was a lot of 50 bu plus canola that will pay bills and the farmers. Our machines are ready to go when and if the weather breaks to help friends and neighbors, but with more snow this week and excessive moisture and short days the forecast may not be good enough for us.

Good luck to all and be safe.

Here is to memories of sunny and dusty harvest days in September
