    Soy booked for 2013,

Booked seed on Friday, 320 acres. Looking for
    another 160 acres,canola will be 3300 not 4000.
    Land worked ready for crop.
Simple rotation, 4000 cereal, 4000 canola soy,
    2000 peas oats barley.
10000 acres soy from Melville to fort Qu'Appelle in
    2013.
Manitoba will also see a drop in canola for soy in
    2013.
Cargill will have delivery options if soy hits 10000
    acres.
Canola will be down in east sask and Manitoba if
    varieties keep improving.

Red River Valley and southern Mb will also see a major
increase in corn acres for 2013. Same as beans the
genetics are making it a profitable crop. Depending
on the rains this past year - yields in the 180 plus
range where attained. Lots of chatter on a corn
        soybean rotation!

Field of corn by balgonie will be harvested soon.
Yield will be good. So yes east sask and Manitoba
            will see a great change.

WD your not the only one. On first read I thought he
                meant three different rotations.
                1 cereal-cereal-cereal
                2 canola-soy-canola -soy
                3 peas-oats-barley...

With some posts you have to do a bit of creative
                interpretation.

Wd like the canola disasters this year. Shit
varieties for way to much money.

                    Questions for SF3

What is the seed cost for soybeans for 320 acres?

Does the cost make it worth making the switch to them?

If you only grow 20bpa, considering costs, it would be the same as growing how many bpa of canola?
