Whatever the machine, 300 hours per year means it SITS idle for 8460 Hours. Proper storage is most important maintenance.

All that green equipment might end up on the second largest JD dealer in Saskatchewans lot in Spring.....Ritchie Bros.

        Have you driven 42 lately?

They got 4 miles done this year tops.

It will take until 2017 to finish if they get moving next year.

But budgets are being moved around so may take longer.

And now that constituency lines have changed they have another excuse.

My grandpa told me along time ago when he was still alive that there are only two kinds of farmers in this world.....those that have John Deere and those that wish they had John Deere....lol.

I heard that from my father in law regularly.

But we both use john deere equipment.

Was good for a laugh when talking with other color farmers.

Today it doesn't have the same zip.

            But still funny.

Well lets just say I tried driving it! Down to Farm Progress Show.
Soon found a different route. One thing is Riverhurst Ferry should last longer if nobody can get to it. But of course they could shut it down if not used enough, like they did with RR branch lines when they refused to give them service and farmers started hauling to main lines.

I can't believe the amount of green iron sitting on dealers lots , Ritchie bros past , present and future auctions, and kijjijji. and your right , no one ever considers the extra money you paid to join the cult when they talk about resale values. I think it's gonna blow up , there is too much to sell . you can buy genuine John Deere microwave popcorn , tho , at a premium , lol

That's exactly the way they will justify closing it.

They use that to close rural hospitals. Don't put a doctor in a hospital for 3 years and it's not hard to say there is no reason to have it open.
