Must be different out there. All the green multi guys around here in east central Alta, Own there equip. Long bought and paid for. So a lack of new deals here is because of crappy $Cdn and high trade $$$. No maturing leases are forcing trades here.

There is a lot of good used Deere In the dealers yards. I do think it shows their strength in marketing and brand recognition. Someone has to buy the new machines so the next person can afford a good used one.
My big farming neighbors use their big tractors and big sc****rs to build necessary roads. Some RMs only own graders and big mowers.
I dont know much details , but one time the RM was balking at a farmer rebuilding the road to access his farm. The farmer said no problem, I will put up gates and lock them until you can find the money to pay me.

Talked to a farmer whose cousin has a off warranty 690, said every day a code went off, and always meant $$$ to fix. Concaves and sep plates fell off.
Sounds like they are very complex and full of bugs, not JUST expensive. Must have the highest depreciation, just like Caddies and Lincolns.

Why so much green on the other guys lots.....did NH and CaseIH have bounty programs? CNH is hard to deal with compared to JDF. Must be a promo of some sort.

SF3. I was talking this area of Alberta. I know all Mud purchases, including ours are paid in cash from this dealership. JD finance always wants to push there product. All the MUD guys say why, cash deal.

Have three, 2012 680's....IN SEASON: combine all day all month for three months....add fuel and grease and clean air filters.....AFTER HARVEST: Wash dry and store for winter...BEFORE HARVEST: Green light. REPEAT in season. Been doing this for four crops and thankful to JD for great uptime.

Used to drive NH CR's.....nothing more to say.

I goes all brands have issues from time to time....
