    Voter Id. ?????

I think, because we checked the box on the income tax forms we were automatically sent from Elections Canada, the "Voter information card", as we weren't canvassed.
On this card, it says, To vote, you must: 3rd point, prove your identity and address

So, what's your "address", mean when your a person living in rural Sask.?

The address on our cards is the mailing address. Drivers licence has mailing address.

Wondering as I just heard a dude on the radio(Gormley) saying he went to vote in the advanced polls and they wouldn't accept his drivers licence as Id because it had his mailing address instead of his land location!
Said he had to drive back home(25km.) to try and find some Id with the land location.

Did he get screwed over by some dick head trying to disenfranchise rural votes(as most statistically vote CPC)?

BTW, card itself isn't considered Id.

I'm sure in the past we've shown our cards and drivers licence and that was all. Has something changed?

Oh boy more conspiracies caused by Harper Derangement Syndrome.

            LOL....Harper haters are sure funny.

The address rules wrote by a low level bureaucrat are now responsibility of the Prime Minister.

Harper approved changes to voter information act, look it up.

Anyway, as long as the address on your ID matches you're physical address elections Canada has on file. The voter cards have mailing address because they're mailed out.

It amazes me how many rural people do not know the legal description of their home quarter, come on folks...

This sounds like a bullshit story! I read the entire list of eligible documentation and nowhere is land location ever required. Your mailing address is your address. Go to elections.ca and see for yourself.

Land location is required, you dint live in a postal box do you? This is not new folks, these have been the rules for years. Previous to this they may have been overlooked by your NDP buddy running the polling booth. Its on your passport, FAC, drivers licence. Power bill. Now move on you bunch of sheep.
