Not BS at all, as said above you NEED to have ID with a physical address on it and not a PO Box.

What was that NFU slogan from the wheat board elections? Vote early and vote often? If there's new rules it's likely to counteract that.

The election Canada website has a long list of acceptable ID. Our location is on our driver's license in Manitoba, but there are lots of other id options. Check the website and bring extra.

Voted at an advance poll over weekend, so easy, just bring voter card and drivers licence. Your passport has a spot where you can write your address in, unlike your driver licence which is printed in by your photo. Go the Election Canada wed site for voter information.

Harper did introduce a new bill called the Fair Election Act.

What a bunch of crap, a NDP trying to disenfranchise A CON/Reformer voter, you guys are always grasping at straws. There's always a boogieman in the closet according to you Con/Reformers!!!! Oh, we all know who really hides in a closet!!!!

I didn't want to start another election thread. I haven't recieved (as of Friday last week) any correspondence from my Lib candidate. I had to Google to find out who it was. I did get mail brochures from the other two mainstream parties/candidates.

So are we going to end up with another Quebec situation where it was a vote "against rather than for"? What are the qualifications of some of these candidates when the party is only concerned about putting a name on the ballot?
