noticed more drift today than any other day this
spring and also much less this spring than any
other year noticed a couple feet at the most
pass per pass but really rare i think no problem
      . using outback

I am new to gps, bought a outback lite, works great north and south or at an angle, east and west looks like i drank a bottle of vodka before noon. Odd.

makar: no that is not unusual, satellites the way
they are positioned in the sky, give you more
accuracy traveling north and south. Mine locked
up a couple nights ago, do not know what the
hell happened. Dam near spun the tractor on a
          90. Would not even disengage with foot switch.
rebooted and in four or five minutes picked up
          satellites and worked fine again.

Subscribed to rtx this season for the seeder
tractor. Incredibly accurate. Well worth the
investment. Virtually zero drift even after 24
hours. Sub centimetre accuracy as advertised.

I almost grabbed mine and threw it out the door the other day. Was driving me nuts all spring. This was an S2. Finally got fed up and swapped it out with an old S and it's working great. What the hell gives?

Deere 2630 and 3000 receiver on SF1, no issues all spring, any angle any direction. Returns to the line next day. But it costs a lot more...
