Front of cab. Caseih 600 quad. Don't believe rtx
uses a tower. All through satellite I believe. Not to
be confused with rtk 1600 for annual subscription
or 4500 bundle for up to ten units. Not cheap I
know but impressed with the accuracy

Sun spots last week caused some of the issues. Some big flares the last 7 days. Causes interuptions in Sat signals.

As another member stated. Deere 2630 , I run
the sf2 signal. Yes pricey but accurate and ZERO
issues. Get what you pay for...

East West accuracy gets lower as you
move north because more if not all of
the satellites are to the south,
            therefore the entire constellation
shifts from left to right and vise versa
every time you turn. Any type of
            correction will simply reduce that
effect. Deere has a better gyro in my
opinion and that goes a long way toward
            keeping those lines straight.

Since I only have waas litebar guidance,
can someone tell me how much the annual
              subscription to deere's cheapest SF
solution is? I see the deere receivers
              getting cheaper on kijiji lately.

The cheapest is SF1, which is free.

JD 2630's SF3000 on RTK. Zero shifting with our machine's..ever.
Zero yearly cost. Our own base station.
No problems. This is our 11th crop put in by autosteer. There is nothing more relaxing good GPS.

Strongly agree, auto steer is the best part of farming at present. Eight years and so far NO repairs needed, very reliable for such a complicated technology!
Could never go back. Hope stuff works for all of you.

All you guys running WAAS, a large portion of that line drift is when your unit shifts between the waas sats. This year is especially bad. Set your unit to only use 1 if possible. I use prn138 but prn135 works too. You will be amazed with the results. Cuts short term line drift considerably.
I have done it to outback s2, trimble 500, trimble 372, cultiva atc.
