Is the CDN Senate doomed?

I like Brad Wall's comment,"If a triple 'E' Senate is impossible then we should get rid of the current triple 'U' Senate. Unelected. Unaccountable. Under investigation."

I have to admit after talking to non farmers at the lake, I can see value in an elected non partisan senate that can look at parliament's partisan decisions objectively.

In other words much like young adults asking mom and dad for advice you get what is hoped to be an experienced opinion.

It should be aimed at keeping Canadians values at the core of Parliament's decisions.

Bucket, if that's the case at least have an elected body of some sort, no more stacking to push through legislation.

Bucket, except a big chunk of these "mom and dads" are either in court, suspended, facing prosecution or in jail already.

I will repeat.

An elected non partisan senate.

I don't have a membership to any party and as I think things thru I can usually see both sides.

Bucket for Senate. That's funny but really not a bad idea.
