    gasoline price

    Well, oil under US$50.
    Cdn loonie at .767
Gas in town from $1.039 to $1.119 today.

$50/.767=$65.19 CDN for a barrel of oil.

I suggest we pick one retailer and boycott the rest.

What's happenned is oil companies and current government have realized that anyone not in the oil business enjoy low oil prices and don't see the benefit of higher prices. Although media says country in trouble everyone Else realizing anyone out side of oil is paying to have high world price. So they want to show us all that we re not gonna benefit we re all gonna pay no matter the world price. Time to tell them all to F off. We should have the lowest price anywhere regardless of world price our econy would boom but then the oil companies couldn t buy off the government that way could they?

Didn't realize that with the Iran deal there will be a glut on the world market. Wow what a brilliant strategy to base out entire well being on one raw commodity. Utterly brain dead or bought off I suggest a case of both.

Just returned from a quick trip to Quebec City area( visited the in laws) and the cheapest gas was at a Shell station just as you come out of the bush east of Steinbach , it was 1.032/litre.

That station has a long history of lower prices. They get all the lake people to fill up on their way back to the city.

Around Edmonton gas prices have been stupid, up to $1.05. Shell refinery has been offline for a couple of weeks. Shell stations have zero gasoline for sale. Saw my local with a posted price last night. Once they are back to normal I would expect we will be back to low 90's or better.
