Interesting that some people that had cash thru high interest rates where money doubled in 4 years talk about saving money that if in a lifetime now wouldn't double.

So some guys that thought much like the CPPIB farming would be a good investment are told to save and live within their means.

Be interesting what happens to the taxpayer money within the CPPIB that hafe no one telling them that. Just back to the trough.

If other small businesses don't enjoy all the fringe benefits of Primary Ag Producers, maybe they should try "enjoying" farming.

Being a "new farmer" and having eroding yields due to flood and hail over most of that time does not leave me with much for crop insurance coverage. I don't expect anything extra from the government but I wouldn't be sad to see crop insurance premiums waived this year on crops in a claim position. It's not much but it would take some of the sting out of what is highly abnormal weather event.

And you well understand, Cott, that the Sask power worker is depending upon his inflated pension to support his extravagant lifestyle (if comparing Canadian lifestyles to average world lifestyles). And that pension was padded with tax dollars. AS WELL AS BORROWED DOLLARS.

In other words, a pension that is unaffordable.

Ask Greece how that's working out for them.

Any person who thinks Canadians can lobby to fund themselves a better lifestyle via BORROWED DOLLARS that the taxpayer has to pay back, without suffering personal, regional and national consequences, is .... magnificently stupid.

            I'll stand by that.

Children are proud of themselves when they know they can manage very well without the help of their parents.

Parents are so very relieved when they know their children can manage well without them.

Independence brings out the best in all people. Pars

Farmabic: reality is each and every single person had damned well better try to lean on their own independence. Nobody cares more about you than you do.
