How is a 1000ac farm reseeding 300 ac any different than a 10,000ac farm reseeding 3000ac. coffee shop loves it when a big farm takes a hit.

They have more to talk about in coffee row when someone they're jealous of takes a hit.

The soil is a living organism. Nuttiness are replaced plants and agriculture have existed for thousands of years.... it's just that they don't get replaced fast enough for high yield ag.

          Quit trolling.

Not even worth a response Klause. How can people in such an age of access to information be so uninformed. Baffling.

Modern Ag is a slow form of mining. Ag may have existed for thousands of years but never has so much been taken away from the land. Undisturbed ecosystems recycle the nutrients.

Remove too much potassium from your body and see what happens when it's not replaced. Potassium may not be the best example, in Sask, but I think you get the picture. There is a balance. Add to much N to a sulfur deficient soil and see what your canola looks like in patches throughout the field. Keep taking more out of the account and never replace anything...sooner or later you're broke.
