I just wanted to clarify - We're willing to pay for the freight up to 450 km from Clive, AB. After that, the producer will have to pay any additional freight charges...
However, we are looking for backhaul rates that may exist to some destinations, so it may still be quite competitive.

Do you have recommended varieties that farmers should pursue growing if they want to deal with you?

It looks like a 450km radius makes this program feasible for west central Sask and most of Alberta.

Hi Bucket,

Right now, we really don't care what the variety is - All varieties yield about the same amount of oil, and all that the buyer is interested in is that it can be labelled as "non-GMO".
