There is an old, old saying. "pay up, or shut up." lt
reads like you did not pay up! I suspect SF1 and
SF2 weigh in on theses decisions and then SF3
relays the information after the fact. Allfarmer had
a point, buy it all and sell the ones you don't want.
You claim you were approved over what the seller
      was asking.

There is another old saying I cannot exactly recall.
I heard it years ago at a curling funspeil in Oak
River, Manitoba. I think the pub was called the
      Blanchard Hotel.
Somebody was spinning a yarn and the old guys
did not believe a word that was being presented.
One of the old guys ' rebuttal was a quote that
went something like this , "Ifs and ands were pots
and pans, bullshit would be butter.".
No matter, you can do custom seeding for the BC
guy. There is profit built into custom work fees.

hobby farmer you dont get it the BC guy
is surrounded by us and three other
families with young sons, also who is
now left in our area is related to
either one of the above by way of
brothers or uncles etc. So the BC guy
bought his last land in the area.
See guys like you miss the point.
Now is not the time to buy, Im done but
my kids will get most later on that
        these guys sold.
Why when you have 40 paid for do you
need more. 40 makes you good money plus
        the rented.
Im local these guys were a Englishman a
BTO and a complainer. No one will miss
        them.
Finally if when you retire you havent
put away enough money for that and need
to sell dirt then maybe your farming
        career wasnt that good.
        Also simple math.
        40 x 275000 = $11,000,000.00 If you give
even 1/4 up for a loan your approved at
        a real nice amount.
        Simple buy low.
        Read history 1929 1960s 1979 and now
        2012.
        Have a great day Hobby!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually Greg thats a very good one! Yes I
complain but what Im complaining about
most of the time is in the back of most
              farmers mind!
Have a great day and enjoy the snow. No we
really didnt need it did we!

No sense in eating our young, is there. You'll only
become mad. Saskfarmer is open, and
contributes freely,is successful, and my god, can
even work with his family!,so we can learn much
from him, just as we can from everyone on this
                    site.

Maybe a page on a Farmers' website listing land
that is coming up for sale would be good. " Match
my offer and it's your land" option? Good solid
work and dedication always advances one nearer
                    the goals. Pars

Burbert got it all off your chest? A little insecure
that you can accept the fact that someone else
                      has their shise together?
