Where do most plastics come from? Oh yeah petroleum!
And without any details Furrow declares it more sensible than EVs than can be powered with renewable energy? Huh?
Solar, wind, hydro with zero fuel costs.
And EVs are are 80% efficient compared to 20% for ICE vehicles that would still be burn indirectly petroleum at those low efficiencies.
That makes no sense at all!

Oil must be zero cost too?
It's just sitting there in the ground waiting for you to add some mechanisms to extract it.
Natural gas even more so.
Just drill a hole and put a valve on top to regulate it.
Medicine Hat supplies all kinds of energy to local industries because the gas is right there and near free.
Largest fertilizer plant in Canada because of cheap reliable energy.
