Any tariff retaliation should be tit for tat. Most of what the US government is tariffing is aimed at central Canadian industries. Most of which we import back to Canada anyways. Maybe we spend our energy reducing interprovincial trade barriers. Seen a video where they were claiming Canada could unlock $200 billion of gdp by doing so. This country is so balkanized and a literal joke because of this. I’m a proud Canadian but a western Canadian and have some resentment to central Canada for their incompetence of leaving the west to blow in the wind but expecting it to tow the central Canadian line, and pay taxes. Still think Smith is an opportunistic cockroach with the Wildrose Party destruction albatross hanging upon her neck, and current separatist movement as silly. Days of western Canada concept those guys had more grounds. Ford and Kinew can go find a cheap hooker to beat on for all I care.
