Export taxes on oil, gas and potash.....

Since tRump "doesn't need anything from Canada" lets threaten to put oil, natural gas, potash and critical minerals on the list for retaliation and see if the demented bully notices.

I say do it just in time for mid term elections and the onset of the heating season. We can ignore Danny Smith's whining because she is getting another pipeline to Asia and tRump won't like the competition. The mood in the country is fight back, not cave like a bunch of Alberta UCP pussies.

What a shit show the whitehouse has become. Greer and tRump were speaking positively about being near a deal and by Friday night they add on restriction on Canada to sign other free trade agreements! WTF. Nobody would sign that! They wanted to blow it up!

Probably thanks to the obnoxious billionaire Howard Nutlick

These guys are no better than used car sales men and conmen.

If Donny and Nutlick want to start another war they can't win like Iran, going in to mid terms, let the assholes get even more clobbered!

Well as much as i agree with the sentiment... putting an export tariff on those would be

    A ) political suicide
    b) economic suicide

And c) it would both embolden the seppies AND unite USA farmers against an " enemy" that isnt an enemy. Plus, all that trump would do is say
" see? Im right" and then jam out another 5 to 10 billion in ad hoc socialist style direct to farm subsidies. The farners would like it ..claiming that they " needed it" because of canada.

It would effectively help trump in the midterms witb a base that is currently wavering. This beef deal isnt gonna help him either....

Especially when the head of the USDA has approved the deal ( which shows who brooke rollins is really working for; hint, its not the american rancher/ farms.

And. Danielle smith even agreed that the deal in place was untenable.

At this point.. let them cook their own goose down there before the midterms.

Trump is currently polling underwater in ALL but 3 states. leave it be for a couple months.

Selectively target their reddist states and the swing states with very precise tariffs.

    Texas. Pennsylvania. Etc

    Dont help trump.

Yeah Goalie you are probably right.

But it sure would be fun to jerk their chain.

But as you said the better method is too let them step in their own dog poop which they are more than good at!

It might be good to let Doug Ford do some of the talk shows down south. He seems to talk american. I still like that Ronnie Regan ad that Ford made that criticized tariffs and promotes free trade. That sure pissed of the demented Don and got unde rhis skin. A couple of runs before midterms would be good!

Sounded like Greer and Nutlick had a shouting match and Nutlick won for now. But tRump is desperate to look good and putting more tariffs that Americans will pay isn't on the list of looking good.

I just had to take Chuck off of ignore so I could respond to this brilliant idea.

Putting tariffs on all the things made in Eastern Canada and not the Western Canadian separatist provinces wasn't an accident.
Responding by sacrificing western Canada as chuck proposes would serve its purpose of making the Eastern Canadians the bad guys in the Americans the good guys in the minds of Western canadians. and as goalie guy points out, and bolden the separatists even more. Which I'm sure was the strategy to start with.

I maintain that there is no negotiated solution to this. The entire point is to pluck off the valuable parts of the country and bleed dry the remainder.

Canada exists because the Americans allow us to. They have decided that has come to an end.

I think you've got this one right Chuck>
And the Nutlick nickname takes you to another level.

The rest of it is a just clickbait.

Actually only Trump. There could export tax on electricity and aluminum. Those would hurt more. The U.S . Is covering our water. Can we last 3 Mos or at most 2 years.
