    Vaxx Question

    Im neither pro nor anti always look into it.
    Currently zero vaxxed.

    Whoops thats a lie did have a Q fever shot couple years back and tetanus every 5 years.

    Anyways was at doc yearly blood test mostly for prostrate and other nasties.

    He suggested I may want to look into shingles vaccine if ive had chicken pox. Cant recall if I have or haven't presume I have. Reckons once your plus 60 risk increases.

    Any of you guys had it shingles or the vaxx doing research first.

    Comments welcome except from one chap thread will be deleted if I see quotes etc. So dont spoil it for all.

    Guessing you guys dont have Q fever issues as much due to colder climate?

      Never heard of it.
      Wiki says found everywhere but NZ and Antarctic.
      Not sure if I truly had chicken pox or not.
      Been quite a while since my last tetanus.
      Don't follow my health file like I should.
      Wish I had a driver. Especially these days.
      Seems always an appointment in Edmonton.

          I got shingles 25 years ago, painful, awful experience, then vaccinated about 10 years ago. Got shingles again, 2020, mild, hardly knew I had them. I got the updated vaccine in 2022, because the first vaccine was good for only about 5 years. This one is for life. From my experience, you want to do everything you can not to get shingles. Just my opinion. I trust the science, I get all the shots. We travel a lot and want to be protected. No, I do not debate the vaccine issue. You, do you.

              I’m a young pup but soon as I get old enough I’m getting the shingles vaccine. Seen the effects of that nasty thing. Funny now all our babies get vaccinated for chickenpox and they never get to enjoy the experience like most of us have.

                  Shingles vaccine is worth it but I am more interested in its effect to reduce chances of dementia, will be getting it for both.

                      Will definitely be going to get the shingles vaccine soon .
                      Proven vaccine that they never tried to hide the info for 75 years after forcing the entire population of Canada to take or else you were ostracized by fanatical idiots

                          Had the shingles shot. 2 part vaccinatio. My wife had shingles and it was not pleasant. Shingles is not contagious and not usually fatal like covid. Thus no need for mass vaccination.
