    B.C. Provincial Election Oct. 17, 2026

Wishful thinking here - B.C. Got so severely screwed over by Eby and the Old Democratic Party. Basically Eby handed the province over to a few Indian chiefs with the help of UNDRIP. He tried to back-peddle and now has found out that you can’t put the genie back into the urn. The Conservatives better put in a unbeatable candidate because G****land is ready for a revival. A right-wing government could change everything for a unified and free West. ( If I should live so long).

The BC Conservatives are not unified and are infighting like cats and dogs.

They will need a moderate leader to win an election.

Yeah bc will be an interesting one. If you look at the federal map alot of areas swung to the cons. But now with carney polling well against pierre, that feeling of cons being the answer may not look so bright. I cant imagine a single homeowner/ landowner is impressed with the situation that Eby has created with the 1st nations in BC. I often look at real estate ( van island and area is truly gods country) and its incredible the amount of properties that have come on the market in the last couple months.

Any candidate that the cons throw out, with moderate policies, should do well just due to the political climate...but i would expect the liberals may win a few seats in urban ridings, especially the areas south of vancouver that are of large ethnic minority population. They usually vote NDP both federally and provincially but now those NDP sentiments may change as jagmeet pretty much ran the federal NDP into absolute irrelevancy. I expect alot of the ndp sentiment has swung to liberal and that will show in the provincial election. Alot of those middle of the road swing voters are fed up with NDP and eby debt in BC but see what smith is up to in alberta and wont go down that road. Plus, pierre looks like he couldnt beat a dead horse ( hes flogging it sure) in another federal election so the cons that get rolled out in BC will be facing an uphill battle if they align with pierres slogans, i mean ..."policies".......

Goalieguy I have always tried to figure where you are on politics. Apparently not a NDP fan. You don’t like Poilievre or Danielle Smith. So I have to conclude you are a Liberal. Personally fiscally Conservative but 10 years of Trudeau and Singh has pushed me right of centre on immigration and some social issues. And I am not a Carney fan, to quote Carson Jerema of the National Post, “the greatest trick Mark Carney ever pulled was convincing Canadians that he’s right wing”. Which he is certainly not, I would be willing to debate anyone on this topic. As for Eby, this guy has been a colossal screw up, but realistically a typical NDP. Enjoy your day Goalieguy.

The PPC is currently the only federal party right of center, Max founded it in 2018.

Hamloc, the timing seems to be spot on with your move, or is just a coincidence?

People are slowly beginning to understand that there are no fundamental differences between the ruling parties.
The democratic process is just to make us peasants think we have some say in the matters.

Realistically the Liberal’s have been in power 70% of the time so really there has been little change over time and yes to a great degree the democratic process is an illusion!!
