    Website maitenance tonight

    Hi everyone,
Agriville is getting an important upgrade to improve the overall security, stability, and performance of the website.

Recently, we discovered a security vulnerability on our Agriville platform, we detected some suspicious activity, which we quickly identified and fixed. No user data was accessed or affected. To help prevent this from happening again—and to ensure a smoother experience for everyone—we’re upgrading our forum software.

Downtime is scheduled for tonight, March 30, starting around 10:30 PM CST and continuing overnight. The site will be back online Tuesday morning.

What this upgrade means for you:
    • Improved website security
    • Better site stability and performance
    • A more reliable platform for future improvements
After the upgrade, you may notice parts of the site look a bit different or items are temporarily unavailable. This is normal, while we work through the transition and things will settle as we complete the remaining updates.

Thank you for your patience and for being part of the Agriville community. We’re committed to keeping the site stable and enjoyable.

And for a laugh, enjoy RedGreen handyman corner where RedGreen gives his weed control tips.

Yes, why would a farmer desiring to discuss agricultural topics with fellow farmers in a civil manner need to hide behind anonymity.

I don't know LDU, I unequivocally prefer my anonymity. AB5, I must not be civil.

Admin, the navigation area near the top left hand side of the page is incomplete. The old one that took you back to the list of forums made it easier to navigate around to the different forums. I find you have to go to the top menu bar now and change forums through the Agriville.com tab.

Does the new format make it possible to see who all "liked" a post? Why isnt there a "dislike" option?

Signed in users can see who liked a post:
            • On mobile tap & hold the emoji
            • On desktop hover over the emoji

We're working on improving the navigation to make it similar to the old site - we realize this is an important part of your user experience.

Stars will be removed, it's just a default style that came with the upgrade, has to do with user participation.

Farma, I can't think of anything you've ever posted here that you would be embarrassed to say to someone's face in real life.

And unike another infamous poster here who hides behind multiple levels of anonymity, I doubt you have a history in politics, or are worried that your public employer might find out how you conduct yourself online.

I see under(in) the +emoji button within a post there is a thumbs down button beside the thumbs up, are those basically the like and dislike buttons?

Yes, the +emoji button with the thumbs up & thumbs down replaces the old ike buttons.

I just tried, and you can now like and dislike your own posts.
