46% of voters in Alberta have a positive view of Carney

Recent polling from early 2026 indicates that Prime Minister Mark Carney has achieved surprisingly high approval ratings in Alberta, a region traditionally hostile to federal Liberal leaders.
    • January/February 2026 Polls: A January 2026 Angus Reid Institute poll indicated that 46% of voters in Alberta had a positive view of Carney.
High Economic Approval: A CityNews/Canada Pulse Insights poll released in February 2026 showed that 66% of Albertans agreed with Carney's approach to economic diversification and building, a significant figure in a historically conservative region.

Does this explain why Danny Smith is worried and trying to create and cement more resentment towards the Federal Government?

A healthcare and education crisis along with poor fiscal management and a giant deficit, she sure needs someone to blame besides herself!

Lol Chuck2, I can assure you I am not one of the 46%.
As far as I can see the only difference there will be between Carney and Trudeau is the size of the deficits!!!!

That level of support for Carney and the Liberals in Alberta puts Smith in doubt.
