Poilievre Congratulates Trump? WTF?

There is no doubt Maduro was a dictator who violated human rights, stole an election and jailed political opponents. Trump has his own record of similar crimes.

But PP steps in the dog crap again by congratulating Trump for arresting Maduro and illegally invading Venezuela? What a knob!

PP always a good Trump ass kisser steps in the shite again by praising Trump's illegal invasion and use of force.

So does PP think its a good idea that the US or any country is allowed to invade another country by force and take out the leader?

And nary a word from PP about upholding international law or returning Venezuela to a free democratic country that chooses its own government?

And this comes at a time when his MPs are crossing the floor because of his poor leadership. And Trump is stepping up his attacks on democracy and the rule of law at home and abroad.

PP always the lightweight short term "thinker", praises Donny for an illegal invasion and gives the opposition and voters more evidence that he is not Prime Minister material and looks more like a MAGA Trump supporter, at a time when the independence of Canada is under even more threat.

Did PP not learn anything from the last election? It appears not!

You do of course remember Pierre Poilievre’s wife is Venezuelan Chuck2!? I am guessing she was delighted by the news.

While there is no doubt flying into the middle of a military base(where Madura lived) and extracting him with no loss of American life was an laudable feat what comes next in Venezuela will be very difficult. It will be a monumental task to reverse Venezuela’s fortunes. Hugo Chavez and now Maduro have done their best to run Venezuela into the ground.

Was Pierre Poilivere speaking publicly as her husband or as a leader of the official opposition? LOL

I think it was a very poor choice of words if you are trying to distance yourself from last years election campaign.

He's a dud!

So Carney’s word salad response that really said nothing was better?

So exactly how is Venezuela better off? The same government is in power. The U.S. has spent hundreds of millions to capture one despot, meanwhile Venezuelans are still starving and drugs are still flowing.

Are they going to be able to have some kind of election that might represent what the people vote for?
Can you have an election when gangs and a cartel run the country?

Have to wonder what is left there as 20% of the population, about 7 million, who don't like it voted with their feet and left.

Maybe if the U.S. spent as much energy eliminating the demand for drugs the cartels would break apart.

Article in WSJ about Maduro using Cubans as his personal protection as he couldn't trust his own military?
Emerging commie governments always seem to have Cuban military around. Common in South America and Africa.

www.wsj.com/world/americas/venezuela-cuba-maduro-trump-intelligence

"The Cuban government said 32 officers from its Revolutionary Armed Forces and the Interior Ministry, which runs intelligence services, were killed in the line of duty as part of Maduro’s security detail."

"But Cuba’s security detail failed to defend Maduro, despite a U.S. armada threatening the Venezuelan leader for months from the Caribbean.

“What’s almost worse is that they couldn’t inflict any damage on the Americans,” said Jorge Castañeda, Mexico’s former foreign minister"

"Former intelligence agents and dissidents who monitor Cuba’s security apparatus estimate that some 140 officers were assigned to provide personal security services to Maduro. "
?

Some interesting facts that since Venezuelas revolution there has not been any real scientific survey of oil reserves. These so called huge reserves are a figment of Maduros imagination. None of his claims are proven. Trump may have invaded for nothing. Canada has nothing to worry about. The flim flam man may have been suckered.
