Up here near the end of the road on the edge of the bush, it's always better to have a gun than wish you had one.
Some situations you can't run fast enough.

The US leads the world with very easy access to guns and the highest level of mass shootings for any developed country.

And the gun lobby continually argues against more restrictions and background checks on who can buy a gun.

Yes, if we want our sons and daughters to pick up the shield, they have to be protected as well as the bad guys are armed.
