Not a racist asshole, just tired of them, and people like you, promoting whatever lefty nutjob narrative you can to fire up the rest of the good hardworking folks on here, and on any other social media outlet. I honestly don't think anyone believes as much of the shit out there as you pretend to, and believe that you are just a rage-baiter... well today you can have my rage... Feel free to give your house and land, if you actually do have a farm, to them, and go live on the street... I won't be... They agreed to what they agreed to, and now we give and give and give millions everytime we turn around for whatever reason they dream up. Those of us that work and pay taxes are getting a little tired of paying for everyone else's way... As I said, you feel free to give away yours, I won't be...

Lots of unmarked graves on every rez.
Locally some like to do their own burials.
They pick the coffin up from the undertaker and do their own service and burial.
Mark the grave in their own graveyard with a wooden cross made out of wood.
That would be a fine way of handling death in the family in my opinion.
Southern Sask had a graveyard they made a big fuss about unmarked graves in the media.
Elders on the Rez said it was because some priest came in in the past and wanted the graveyard cleaned up and just mowed over everything.
Local farmers were buried there too.
Just never used headstones.
Some don't see value in headstones.

This is the story referred to above. Read this story Chuck. The narrative debunked by elders. Graves unmarked yes because they cleaned it up because the cemetery was in disrepair. No need to give anyone any handouts. Rather should just put up a monument with all the known names. Some names might be missed as historical records are not perfect.
Had cemetery in a corner of some land we used to own out in the sticks. It had all grown to solid bush and you wouldn’t even have known it was there if you drove in with a cat except for a handful of metal crosses. Church had been gone since the 50s and all that was left was a rock cairn that we seeded past. Guy from the church called me one day and said they wanted to clean up the cemetery, but they didn’t know where all the graves were and the record showed more people buried in it than the metal crosses. They couldn’t find families of most people buried there, to hit up for cash to buy new headstones, and some who they could find, weren’t ready to hand over enough money for a now distant relative’s new headstone, and then they wouldn’t know where to place it cause they didn’t know exactly where the graves were. So he wanted to have the bush pushed back, and wanted my permission. So that is what they did, just like Marieval, brought in equipment, pushed out the trees, leveled it, used families’s money to put up a monument with all the known names, placed the metal crosses on each side of the monument, and now they can at least cut the grass with a riding mower. The graves are now all unmarked. This is life.
In the rez next to me, the church there has many crosses made out of 2x4s. Soon to be rotten or burnt and unmarked again. This is life.
There is no need for the government to be handing out money to natives for any cemeteries. I think most of the people buried in the cemeteries is recorded somewhere. In fact the native families should rather be handing over money for their relatives’ new grave markers, just like the people from the church did for the cemetery on my land.
Reconciliation for natives is a business, where they get revenue. Land Claims for natives is a business where they get revenue. Treaty Rights is a business for natives where they get preferential treatment and revenue. I’m not a denialist, just stating fact.
The result has been a segment of the population who, because of hand outs, has been slow to get motivated and get jobs and provide for themselves. But it is getting better. A number of native bands have businesses, gas stations, restaurants, stores, etc on reserve and near cities like Edmonton, Calgary, Regina and Saskatoon. I support these businesses when I can. The future is bright for these people. But the free handouts must stop.

Sure Tsipper!
Most of you guys are nothing but unsympathetic uncaring complainers that are so far out of step with the values of most Canadians.
Every Conservative leader across the country has expressed more understanding and caring for first nations than the blatant bigotry, racism and rage against first nations seen here on Agrisilly.
There is no politician who represents or would endorse these very negative and destructive divisive views on First Nations.
