You getting your science and evidence from facebook Downunder?
Well that explains it then! LOL
Social media is starting to look more and more like supermarket tabloids from days gone by.

Here's what the science says.Originally posted by Hamloc View PostLittle Ice Age ended 1850. Blah blah blah.
What caused the medieval warm period?
Current global average temperatures are higher than the Medieval Warm Period. Yopu can see it your own temperature chart. The medieval warm period was warmer in only some regions.
So its not proof that current much more pronounced human caused warming is not happening!
The Medieval Warm Period was caused by a combination of increased solar activity, a decrease in volcanic eruptions, and natural shifts in ocean circulation patterns, such as changes to the El Niño–Southern Oscillation. Scientists conclude that a natural external forcing was necessary to explain the warming, as natural variability alone was insufficient to cause the event.- Increased solar activity Periods of higher-than-average solar radiation provided more energy to the Earth's climate system.
- Decreased volcanic activity Fewer volcanic eruptions meant less ash was released into the atmosphere. Volcanic ash can block incoming sunlight, so its absence allowed more solar radiation to reach the surface.
- Ocean circulation changes Shifts in ocean currents, such as the Gulf Stream transported warmer seawater into the North Atlantic region, which explains the particularly warm conditions experienced there.
- Natural variability also played a role in the warming phenomenon.

Lave it Crap to confuse science with politics! LOL
Here is what the science says:
Evidence for global warming is overwhelming, seen in rising global temperatures (hottest decade on record: 2015-2024), melting glaciers & ice sheets, rising sea levels (from melting ice and thermal expansion), ocean warming & acidification, shifts in ecosystems (earlier blooms, bird migration changes), increased frequency/intensity of heatwaves, droughts, and storms, with 99.9% of scientists agreeing human activity is the cause
.
Temperature & Atmosphere- Rising Temperatures: The planet's surface temperature is increasing, with each decade since the 1980s warmer than the last, notes the UN (https://www.un.org/en/climatechange/science/causes-effects-climate-change).
- Arctic Warming: The Arctic is warming at least twice as fast as the global average.
- Melting Ice: Glaciers and ice sheets (Greenland, Antarctica) are melting at accelerating rates, losing billions of tons of ice annually.
- Sea Level Rise: Global sea levels are rising due to melting ice and water expanding as it warms.
- Ocean Changes: Oceans are getting warmer, more acidic, and losing oxygen, impacting marine life.
Extreme Weather & Ecosystems- More Extreme Events: Increased frequency and intensity of heatwaves, droughts, wildfires, and severe storms.
- Ecosystem Shifts: Earlier spring plant blooming, changes in bird migration, and marine species moving to cooler waters.
Scientific Consensus- Near-Unanimous Agreement: 99.9% of scientists agree that human activities are causing the climate emergency.
- Unnatural Heating: Even with low solar activity, Earth's temperature is rising, pointing to human-caused greenhouse gases as the driver.
