Does anyone else recall another country in recent history which insisted the state babysit/indoctrinate the children, because the state knows better than parents? How did that turn out?

old families had 9 or more kids, mom stayed home never got government dollars. All survived.
now young people both work but, need day care while they own 2 newer vehicles, boats, snowmobiles, fifth wheel trailers..and a newer fancy house.
I dont see any Poor young families.

Its has all been brought about by plan , they want both parents working and paying tax , plus they want to get the kids as early as possible so the indoctrination can start
