So you agree that under Justin Trudeau to many immigrants were allowed to enter Canada but if any of us question the choice of which countries people were allowed to emigrate from we are racist?! And yes there is no doubt that Canada’s low birth rate has created a situation where we won’t have enough workers to support the elderly.

      In many cases yes Hamloc.

As I said before immigration has been and will continue to be an economic policy.

Carney has cut immigration and student visas dramatically. But you are still talking about Trudeau? LOL

Poilievre ran against Trudeau in last years election failed election campaign too!

Hamloc you can try to move on you know! LOL

The original post was about gasoline prices. One important factor forgotten, no carbon tax! It would be over 20 cents a litre now under Justin Trudeau. Before the tax was removed it was $4.10 a gigajoule on natural gas. On my last natural gas bill the gas component was $1.07 a gigajoule. The carbon tax would be almost 4 times the value of the natural gas. But no the carbon tax wasn’t inflationary. Morons!

But we also need immigrants who will fill low skilled jobs that are hard to fill in the service industry.
Student visas cover most of that.
Those are entry-level positions to get job experience and immerse in Canadian culture.
          Not careers.

Interesting, Trudeau was still blaming Stephen Harper right up until the end! As for the Poilievre loss, voters east of the Manitoba border certainly see the world differently than those of us on the Prairie’s, not something I can change.

Some of you guys are in racism denial.

Racism is a common part of rural communities. Polite people try to hide it more because it is not as acceptable as it once was. But it's still there hidden in the shadows a lot of the time.

It flares up again again in public places. Hockey rinks, schools, on line. Many places.

Just listen in on a few conversations.

Chuck2 when I was young 40 years ago I was a big supporter of multiculturalism. After the last 10 years of Justin Trudeau and his version of DEI my opinion has certainly changed.

Interesting looking at how this post went from gasoline prices to racism. Two posts about prices, Chuck2 comes in and comments on his second most disliked topic, Alberta(Trump is his greatest dislike), and the post goes sideways from there. Realistically absolutely no connection between the price of gasoline and a persons racial makeup.

So Chuck2 as fossil fuels have become more affordable and the price of electricity continues to inflate what does this do for your constant electrification narrative?!

Asking that inconvenient question is going to result in accusations of racism...
