Eby needs something to distract from what a total failure his government is and how bad things are in BC.
Provincial deficits over $1 billion, drug epidemic with overdose deaths by the thousands, drug cartels from China and Mexico using Vancouver are a world hub.
Money laundering floats the economy.
Swirling down the shitter.
How can that even happen?
BC was the promised land.
More prosperity than Alberta.
They have everything needed to be an economic leader.
Just a series of bad government voted in by virtuous woke voter.
Perfectly example of you get the government you deserve.

Quick google shows B.C. had a record deficit of $7.3 billion for fiscal year 2024-2025 with projected deficits to increase to over $12 billion for 2026-2027. I was listening to Adrian Dix, minister for Energy and climate solutions talking about why they were against a new pipeline from Alberta on The House on CBC radio yesterday. He said they would only support initiatives that were good for B.C.’s economy and that would support the economy they are trying to build. Looks like they are trying to build a mountain of debt!!!Comment

So when Alberta declares its independence do you think they will have more luck pushing an oil pipeline for Asian markets through BC? LOL
Eby is very interested in more LNG exports and has very little support in his province for exporting oil from the north coast.
Alberta has no company that has an actual business plan and financing for another oil pipeline.
But Danny likes political theatre to distract from her long list of failures on education and healthcare corruption coming from the highest levels of her government!
She is too busy banning books with any sex or mention of homosexuals or non binary people in them!
Lest, the pretend christian social conservatives are offended!
The only sex act allowed by the pretend christians is the missionary position with the lights out, only in wedlock between a "real" man and woman! The rest is verbotten if you get caught!
