Chuck, you are busy this morning? Lots of little kids were sent away to school against their wishes. Boarding school in Gravelbourg, Muenster, Yorkton to name a few. I personally know of several, “survivors”. Times have changed.

Sure some really effing dumb guy.

And in the cases you cite were their parents the ones who sent them to boarding school?

It wasn't the RCMP and the Indian Agent dragging them away against their parents wishes was it?

And were they systematically abused and told their culture and language was bad?

Moe is apologizing for Indian residential schools and the harm they cause and all you can do is compare it to voluntary residential schools?

      You are a knob!

I am not defending the actions of anyone. I am not responsible for something someone else does. Get it? Just sayin, times have changed.

The people that done the wrong to the native kids back then are responsible , nobody else

We have now had 17 years of truth and reconciliation in Canada.
Chuck likes to demand scientific evidence.
By what measures are the lives of Indigenous people better today than 17 years ago?

            Have rates of addiction declined?
            Joblessness declined?
            Economic security increased?
            Education rates increase?
Fetal alcohol syndrome rates children decreased?
            Accountability with band councils?
Reduction in the rates of property crimes both on and off reserves?
            Reduction in the murder rate?
            Life expectancy?

About the only quantifiable outcomes I am aware of would be poorer Canadian taxpayers, Canada's reputation on the world stage permanently tarnished by disproven accusations of genocide, investment money fleeing due to land claims, extortion and violent attacks on infrastructure, and another entire generation brought up as victims.

I mean. Name other countried that were colonized or taken over that have given back land?
Zimbabwe and South Africa both come to mind. Although "give back" may not be the appropriate term for the murderous rampage and resulting economic, societal and agricultural collapse.

Apparently Zimbabwe has learned their lesson and are begging the surviving white settlers to come back.

I'm sure it will end differently this time though when the poor misunderstood folks terrorizing furrow's neighborhood eradicate their colonizers.

Most of the farmland in South Africa is still owned and operated by white south africans who benefited from decades of apartheid.

And who are you Abusrd 5 to know what progress has been made on thousands of first nations across the country?

You got nothing but a bigoted negative stereotypical view of first nations people with your list!

It's the typical blame the victims for decades of abuse and racism on Agrislly. And deny that harm was done and we have nothing to apologize for!

And no willingness to address the issues and work to make their lives better.

All you care about is yourself and your tax dollars?

No you said Indian residential schools were the same as voluntary residential schools parents and kids decide to go to!

So get a brain you fool!
