so any domestic bird or animal could have bird flu but no symptoms going by that logic , better kill everything , you never know when they may have had contact with a wild bird that likely also had no symptoms also , ostrich's to be culled now have been healthy 260 days since some were sick and died , are they carrier's now and will they be spreading for the rest of their life ? all the cops at farm sure are not very concerned , none wearing masks etc

You’re arguing because you’re against government involvement and regulations.

You’re being facetious because you don’t think the biology validates the government involvement - which means there’s no point in sharing my “expert basic” anything, it’s going to go in one ear and out the other, because the biology will never validate the decision for you.

To me the biology and government are two separate things.

If you don’t want or trust government involvement then just say that and leave it at that. People will understand. You don’t need to try and pretend like you care about the biology and having it explained to you would at all result in an actual discussion.

It doesn’t matter if 50 of the ostriches had died and 15 people were sick, you would not want the government involved.
