Why is it important and how does affect your life? What would you do if one of your grandkids said they were Trans? If you were C Kirk you would say it's not real, a state of mind.

Why is it important and how does it affect your life? what a stupid question. I want to be tolerant as a rule of thumb, but not of the intolerant.
LGB should have the same rights as everyone be accepted and they do and are.
Gender dysphoria is real and if you call that is trans, fine they should be accepted. but it is exceedingly rare (less than .01%)
But auto gynephilia is a kink like the rest of the letters of the alphabet soup.
and kink is fine........ in ADULT bedrooms.

But nowhere close to my grandkids. Or classrooms or school libraries. I won't be silenced or shamed for noticing whats going on

Social Conservatives have had to stop making such a big deal about homosexuals and gay marriage because they are both widely accepted in Canadian society.

Mellisa Lantsmann who is married to another woman and the deputy leader of the CPC makes it hard for the Cons to openly criticize. There are other gay members of the CPC caucus.

So the social conservative haters had to find some other group to hate and complain about in the same way they used to about homosexuals, so they pick on transgender and non binary people who make up 0.33% of the population in the last census.

Crafty little PP says there are only 2 genders as far as he knows, because he has to throw a bone or 2 to the trans haters and pretend christians. But God loves everybody! Or didn't you learn that in Sunday school?

He knows full well that non binary people exist and that transgender people exist. And that humans can have both male and female reproductive organs.

And that science has an explanation.
