    EPA ruling

Looks like starting in 27 no more instant derates for DEF issues.
Took long enough for a little common sense in the new green scam world.

BP, so you don't care if you water and air is polluted with carcinogens and toxic substances?

I absolutely knew those three words would trigger an auto response.
Next time I'll use Trump or Republican or Conservative as a test.

What's your opinion on instant full de-rates?

Chuck2 you believe DEF which freezes at roughly -11 celsius(depends on the brand, some freeze at -5) makes sense in Western Canada where many months of the year are sub zero? Actually I guess that was a dumb question, you also think a solar panel which produces electricity for 5 -6 hours a day in January is a technological advancement. Yeah “Green Scam” certainly accurate.

I looked up what you are talking about. Yes a warning light makes far more sense than de-rating the motor so you can barely keep going.

Actually it has more to do with dependability and functionality. Case in point, cattle farmer bought a new Case Ih Maxxum 155, tier 5 motor. Has to drive about 5 miles to feed his cows. Tractor kept in a heated shop. Driving down the road to feed the cattle the line from the DEF tank to the exhaust would freeze putting the tractor into derate. After a few attempts the dealer was able to insulate the DEF line so that it would function. The other problem was because it was stored inside the heater in the DEF tank didn’t come on, I don’t know if they found a work around on the software or not. Yup I am just a dinosaur. But the reality is that climate zealots are at times complete morons. Enjoy your day Chuck2..
