Once I was Googling palm reading stuff, I have a freckle on my life line, thought I’d see if it meant something.

Turns out I have melanoma.

Peoples knowledge of health is not even basic anymore. It’s one thing to push for a diagnoses that’s not just a common issue - Lyme disease vs chronic fatigue vs burn out - etc. Totally different just deciding symptoms belong to something because you think they do or should.

Except, it seems, if you got a covid vaccine. Then correlation is all that’s needed as proof.

Crop self reporting of suspected causes of complex healthcare issues is not reliable evidence. Period!

You portrayed the yellow card self reporting system as reliable evidence of the harm of vaccines. It's not. The UK yellow card system clearly acknowledges this.

Hundreds of scientists doing repeatable controlled studies and clinical trials are reliable. And collecting data on actual vaccine programs is as well.

The clinical trials and the data from real world programs clearly show the risk from vaccines is very very low.

Ignored, not necessarily, but would depend on context and the person.

But I definitely give less than 0 credence to people who say BS like “I know three people who’ve had strokes since they got vaccinated. I couldn’t tell you one person who had a stroke before.”

A medically backed resource would produce less skepticism however I find there’s a double standard there. On one hand the medical community is apparently manipulating covid results to make it sound worse than it was, yet somehow vaccine impacts are honestly and truthfully represented?

People choose what they want to believe and the same excuse is applied to the counter argument on both sides.

I get what Blaithin is saying. We all know paranoid hypochondriacs and conspiracy theorists would skew the data.

But after seeing firsthand the blatant gaslighting of the bureaucracy towards the vaccine injured and the vaccine bereaved, now I'll trust the government even less than I do the collective citizenry.

The gate keepers literally told us that it was 100% safe and effective, knowing full well that neither could even theoretically be true.?
