Why do you always mention Trumpland?
thought you hated everything about our south neighbors?

Why do you keep running away from discussing their very large wind and solar capacity with relatively low electricity prices.

Both have large amounts of natural gas, some coal but have chosen to install lots of wind and some solar.

They cashed in of free government subsidies to help meet government forced ESG’s and offset their carbon footprint.
You know the answer yet like a windup Woody doll you just keep bleating the same thing over and over

But the oil and gas industry also receives lots of subsidies and incentives to drill more wells.

But you never acknowledge that do you Furrow? So if subsidies bother you why do ignore the ones to fossil fuels?

You still can't accept that renewables can coexist with other forms of energy and make a positive impact.

They were so successful in Alberta and growing rapidly, Danny Smith had to find a way to shut the competition down. Make up some phoney land rules that don't apply to the oil and gas industry!

Way to go Danny the hippo crit!

Oil and gas are renewing deep in the earth constantly, and for crying out loud people….they are not fossil fuels! A term invented by Rockefeller to scare us to think they will run out!
He wanted to raise the prices…

"No, oil and gas are not being renewed at a rate comparable to their consumption. While there is some ongoing formation of hydrocarbons in the Earth's crust, it occurs on geological timescales (millions of years) and is far slower than the rate at which we extract and use these resources. Therefore, from a human perspective, oil and gas are considered non-renewable resources."

                Here's a more detailed explanation:
                • Formation:
Oil and gas are formed from the remains of ancient marine organisms (like plankton and algae) that were buried under layers of sediment. Over millions of years, these organic materials are subjected to intense heat and pressure, transforming them into hydrocarbons.
                • Rate of Formation:
The processes that create oil and gas take place over extremely long periods, far exceeding the human lifespan. While some new deposits may be forming, the rate is significantly slower than the rate at which we are consuming existing reserves.
                • Non-Renewable:
Because the replenishment rate of oil and gas is so slow compared to our consumption, they are considered non-renewable resources. Once these deposits are depleted, they will not be replenished within a timeframe relevant to human civilization.
                • Renewable Alternatives:
This understanding has led to a growing focus on developing renewable energy sources to replace fossil fuels.
