Hydrogen has always been an option discussed to reduce emissions in heavy trucks, tractors and other heavy equipment where electric is not a good option. Many companies have hydrogen prototypes and lines.

EVs for transportation are already taking large market shares in Asia and Europe.

But of course the naysayers don't look at facts!

          Mark Carney cares about Europe.
We are a European country now.
          They are dependable trading partners.
But they only want the stuff to go one way.
Anything that goes that way has to meet all their regulatory and non tariff barriers.

              Norway doesn't have winter? LOL

You guys are really lame with the excuses!

You should get out more Furrow!

"Norway leads the world in electric vehicle (EV) adoption, with EV sales making up around 80-90% of new car purchases in recent years, and the country is on track to meet its goal of 100% by the end of 2025."

All of Canada doesn't get weeks of -30 either.

Many Canadians live in relatively mild winter climates similar to Norway.

"The average winter temperature in southern Ontario generally ranges from around -16°C to 0°C (3°F to 32°F), with significant variation across the region. The far south, particularly areas like Windsor, has a milder climate, while locations further north and inland will experience colder temperatures, often dropping below -16°C."

Quebec is colder but has more EVs on the road than any other province.

And for those who live in a colder prairie climate you can get a plug in hybrid that runs a lot on electric and still gives you an ICE option for longer trips and colder weather.

Tesla's have a system to warm the cabin and battery. In a few minutes you can get into a 20 degree Tesla and drive away. Most newer EVs have this option now. It takes a lot longer to warm up ICE vehicle and it is a lot less energy efficient to do so.

Very interesting article about Norway and how they go thier own way.
They are not in the EU and don't really follow the globalization theory.
                    Especially the mass immigration.
