Real world green sustainable and reliable energy will be nuclear
Oil will always be needed and solar and wind have there place , but can be done differently than massive solar farms on productive farm land
Oil is where it is you can’t change that
and yes the clean up of old oil wells is a must and is slowly taking place . No doubt a scar on the landscape and no one ever said the oil companies should be given a free pass .
you just have to go off the deep end every time eh ?

I see you are baiting me in a thread which I haven't even posted in.

Is this because you have finally found some evidence of this affordable and viable wind and solar energy and waiting for me to ask so you can share it?

You are finally going to prove me wrong when I point out that everywhere it has been tried it has made for far more expensive and less reliable electricity.

Don't wait for me to ask, go ahead and share please.

All the investors and companies who built solar and wind in Alberta, North Dakota and Texas have a business case that contradicts your sweeping and inaccurate claims.

In Saskatchewan the head of Sask Power said wind is the lowest cost source of new generation.

Sask power is also building more wind and solar.

Lower cost generation and higher consumer cost equals huge profits off the average person
funny how your complain about oil companies profits and subsidies but neglect to mention the huge subsidies and potential huge profits from cheap renewables meanwhile as absolutely proven in Europe the average homeowner will get nothing but added inflation
1/2 truths is all you show

There, I fixed it for you.

And if that translates to lower cost energy for the consumer, that would make it the only jurisdiction in the world. How much market penetration will it require to be reflected in lower consumer electricity prices?

And how perfect is the track record of governments and crown corporations investing in uneconomic boondoggles based on flawed ideology and corruption/kickbacks? have there ever been exceptions?
