How do you know if Carney hasn't released a budget yet?
tRump gives tax cuts for the rich billionaires and the loss of services for the poor?
Plus an increase in deficits and total debt as a percentage of GDP in the US, far bigger than Canada.
"The CBO said the tax provisions would increase federal deficits by $3.8-trillion over the decade, while the changes to Medicaid, food stamps and other services would tally $1-trillion in reduced spending. The lowest-income households in the U.S. would see their resources drop, while the highest ones would see a boost, it said.""

People move to alberta because we have jobs. We have jobs because of oil and gas. If trumps drill baby drill comes into fruition and oil plunges ( not due to that but that and who knows what else) then people will move out en masse. Its cyclical here. Lets not pretend that alberta isnt some sort of transient province. Sure we are growing but its all piggy backed on the price of oil.
Any albertand remember when oil plunged back in... ( i honestly dont remember the yr) .. 2015 ish? And grande prairie had the highest foreclosure rate over a6 month period in their entire history?
Oil booms and busts and thats when projects do the same.
but lets also not forget that if oil comes down to 30$/ brl then alberta will see an increase in toy sales on kijijji.....first. Then an increase in vehicle sales * jacked up trucks*... and then a decrease in home sales as more hit the market and people leave the province as unemployment increases.
Heck. Fort Mac has lost 5% of their population since 2018 ish as more people fly in/ out of work and less workers are needed as technology advances and robots / a.i. take over....

goalie, given the known cyclical boom and bust nature of Alberta's economy compared to the rest of the country, how often would you expect Alberta to be a net recipient of transfer payments over the decades?
