    Guyana’s Oil Revolution

Seems the notorious forest carbon sinc on this planet has weighed the benefits of oil against “ potentially “ sinking into the Atlantic Ocean. CBC today has this great article of how they came to their senses and are choosing prosperity and growth over the advice of doom and gloom climate warriors. Go Guyana but watch as Canada takes your place in third-world status.

Really quite amazing numbers. Population of 800000 people. 11 billion barrels of discovered oil reserves. 44% economic growth in the last year. Over $50 billion invested so far. Mind boggling.

This is bad news for Alberta's expensive and dirty tar sands. Lots of cheap oil easily shipped to the United States.

And the chronic complainers think Canada is a 3rd world country already! LOL

You need to get out more!

Think I read somewhere, a carbon zero/neutral country now selling oil!
More Canadians should live in Guyana for a while to understand the difference.

The cost of virtuous political leadership is getting to big to ignore.
Europe is going over the cliff.
When you shut down your industry it moves to somewhere much more favorable to continue supplying the demand.
History confirms cheap energy attracts industry.
Quebec' s aluminum smelter are an example. Cheap hydro.
The climate era is disappearing in the rear view mirror.

Sounds like you'd better encourage Alberta to separate as soon as possible. Will become a have not province soon at this rate. Then New Brunswick and Quebec will have to send transfer payments to Alberta.

Best to cut the ties now while we want to go voluntarily.

Give up Absurd 5. Separation ain't going to happen. Its just political theatre designed to entertain and distract the chronic whiners like you!

It's not worth it to respond to Chuck directly. Needle skip, if you know what that is.
I'm pondering the level and flavor of dissonance in the Western world today compared to other cultures and other periods in history. Can't be a new phenomenon. But I'm struggling to think of a parallel in scale.
It seems that post war, we have developed a blinding superiority complex.
Pro or anti oil, we're all missing the point.

If Mark Carnage does half of what he’d like to Canada will be a much smaller country.
