CBC today has this great article of how they came to their senses and are choosing prosperity and growth over the advice of doom and gloom climate warriors. This is bad news for Alberta's expensive and dirty tar sands. Lots of cheap oil easily shipped to the United States.
And the chronic complainers think Canada is a 3rd world country already! LOL

The cost of virtuous political leadership is getting to big to ignore.
Europe is going over the cliff.
When you shut down your industry it moves to somewhere much more favorable to continue supplying the demand.
History confirms cheap energy attracts industry.
Quebec' s aluminum smelter are an example. Cheap hydro.
The climate era is disappearing in the rear view mirror.

I'm pondering the level and flavor of dissonance in the Western world today compared to other cultures and other periods in history. Can't be a new phenomenon. But I'm struggling to think of a parallel in scale.
It seems that post war, we have developed a blinding superiority complex.
Pro or anti oil, we're all missing the point.
