Australia: another loss because of Trump

The unfortunate reality is that Peter Dutton was running on a similar platform to the Conservatives in Canada, looking towards the future, lower cost of living, lower taxes, giving private industry the ability to succeed. Just like Canada, all these concerns were forgotten and the overriding conclusion was we need more government not less to deal with Trump. 10 years of more government under Trudeau in Canada has done nothing but stall economic growth. I expect more of the same.

While the US goes in the opposite direction. What a recipe for disaster.
At least we still have the option of being the 51st state. Australia doesn't even have that offer on the table.

Oz trades with China and Asia primarily.
I'd like to Mallie's options on that situation.

Was that you at the Alberta rally yesterday with the Stars and Stripes A5?

You can join the US anytime you want! What are you waiting for?

Of course you would rather be governed by Trump. He is your kind of leader that best suits your values!
