disappointed but not surprised , huge number of Canadians are very easily manipulated, in spite of all the propaganda cons still gained 25 seats ,libs won because the NDP party crashed and burned , the question is was that planned ?
at least when the sheeple have their elbows up it will be easier for the libs to go in their pockets and take more of their money in tax

338 Sunday Update: Conservatives Hit Record High (Again)

      Dec 1/2024

This week’s seat projection puts the Conservatives at an average of 229 seats, their highest tally yet in the 338 tracker and a comfortable 57 seats above the 172-seat majority threshold. Meanwhile, the Liberals’ average falls to 51 seats, barely nine seats above the Bloc Québécois’ average of 42 seats.

      CPC
229-144=85 seats lost in 5 months

You can do the math how many seats the Liberals gained in 5 months.

CPC not elbows but, head up ass.

Save the lefty B.S. I voted for PP.

On a positive note, after another term of Trudeau lite, there won't be anything left worth salvaging. We can all go our separate ways.
Agree, MORE serious needed, however, IMO, NONE of that will work in this country, permanently left/libtard/Gov TIT losers would never take the bitter measures needed.

And as a result, demise of what resembles a country, in a continent slashed against the N-S grain, divided as HELL 50-50, never the two will meet...I predict a shytty place for our descendants. I see no chance of sane government any time soon.

Respectfully, that's somewhat like saying everyone should have sold their canola at the peak of $25 or bought shares in O&G when oil price went below zero.

Those conditions are in the rear view mirror.

Those people were not conservative or Poilievre voters, they were Justin Trudeau haters.
Even the media had no love for the LPC at that time.
But unlike missing the market, Poilievre didn't have the choice on when the election was.

No one can argue that he couldn't have done better.
When you lose you didn't do well enough.
But I was surprised, under the circumstances, how many seats he got in the GTA from areas that depend on the auto industry.

Now we will see what the "Crisis" actually is in our country.

Tell me how many seats cons would have got if election was back in late 2024 ?? oh yes you don't have a clue
            nobody will ever know
just more BS about what could have been
The only comparisons that can be made are from one election to another , up or down

Of all the Made For TV Elections we've had I liked the one with the nice hair advertisements the best.

The Liberals have MPs in every province. And even received significant support in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Of course the premiers that didn't get their way and make their political fortunes whining about the Feds are already deciding they don't like the legislation they haven't seen yet!

PP now has to explain to the caucus and the country why he ran such a tone deaf campaign on many issues?

Carney pulled the rug out from under PP on many issues with not much difference on key economic issue, so PP reverted to attack dog issues.

It's quite the feat to lose a 20% lead in the polls when incumbents in many countries are losing due to inflation and cost of living issues.

The problem was Polievre himself who failed on the tRump issue and isn't a very likeable politicain.
