I also think whomever won the Liberal Leadership race should have had to have a seat in the HOC elected in a public election. They knew there wasnt a snowball's chance in hell they could win the election with a leader directly connected to the last 10 years of Liberal rule. I would think the same no matter which party did it. You want to lead a democratic country.... you need to be publicly elected and have a seat in the HOC.
