The people that read no longer pay for much.
Some like The Star have a paywall that only the left side of the spectrum sees any value in so it's basically an echo chamber. They hire their staff to fit the profile.
Same goes for TwitterX. The Logarithms just feed you more of what you click on.
If you read replies to Trump or Trudeau hate all day, that's all your going to see.
My feed has none of what Chuck sees and he sees little of what I see.

I don't think I was clear in my short comment.
I meant Trump accusing others of stooping. My goodness, what a f-n hypocrite!
It's always someone else's fault with him... I wonder if when he shaves he can stand the sight of himself in the mirror.... he probably admires and is in love with what he sees in the mirror like Narcissus did when he saw his own reflection in a pool of water.

Most of the meat is in the first 5 minutes but a lot of the who to blame and what the "plan" is comes out in the rest of it. Also who is going to get torpedoed.
Try to listen to the whole thing without going tomato head or you won't hear the tells on the big plan as they see it.
Much clearer than listening to Trump daily.
Kind of Twisted and for sure lots of opportunity to go off the rails.
Market volatility continued Tuesday with major indexes closing in the red as President Trump negotiates tariffs with Canada. CBS News chief White House correspondent Nancy Cordes sat down with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick to discuss the stock swings, inflation and risks of a recession.

The comment I didn't like was Trump accusing Ford of stooping for threatening to tariff or cut off electrical power to the States! I was too vague in my response to your post.
So America can inflict as much pain on others as they see fit without any consequence? That's stooping. Maybe it's time they quit blaming everyone else for their own dysfunctional problems.
On the Nutlick interview...
Typical loud one track minded American, a Trump parrot. My way or the highway attitude, tough to "negotiate" with that mind-set.
So car companies moved to Canada to break unions? Newsflash.... they're unionized in Canada too! Oh and only if other countries would buy American Ag food it would some how decrease domestic food prices, how does that work when you export it away leaving less at home? And the fentynol thing, quit already, stopping it completely will be like stopping the sun from rising and setting. Is it a problem? Absolutely.
Maybe if their socio-economic situation was better there would be less drug abuse, less demand for the drug. That country has exported more jobs to China than you can imagine, maybe bring those jobs back to the North American continent, but when everyone is dependant on cheaply priced cheaply made disposable junk.... and their standard of living depends on it... good luck.
Maybe even the USD being the reserve currency has gotten in their way, anything "Made(assembled) in the USA"(WITH or without OFFSHORE COMPONENTS) is expensive in comparison when foreign exchange with lowered valued currencies are taken into account!
If they want to be the populous world's economic and military superpower, I guess they need to accept both the pros and cons that come with it.
Being bullied by them sucks. I hope this whole fiasco blows up in their face.... but it won't be their fault, and someone else will pay.

The only disfunction is the USA right now.Globally a wild card.Laws rules and deals of the past made in the military and trade mean absolutely nothing.7 billion people live outside the USA who are consumers of USA products and services and Trump thinks he can he can build an island empire

Trump's escalation of tariffs and expansion to other regions is going to hit the markets again!
The auto industry will feel the impact quickly.
But apparently Trump doesn't look at the markets anymore after he took responsibility for their run up prior to Christmas!
