My mother lived in a long-term care home. All visits to the residents by family were disallowed. She and five others including one staff tested positive for Covid during Christmas 2020 with no apparent symptoms. I was called by a nurse at the care home shortly after new year informing me that all residents would be vaccinated but not my mother because there was a 90 day waiting period after having Covid. I never had to given written permission because she was not getting vaccine. On January 26, 2021 I received another call saying she had been vaccinated. I immediately questioned that same head nurse saying, “ it was you who called me last month saying she would not be vaccinated”. She dismissed it as they apparently got a new directive that allowed vaccination.
On Feb 9, 2021, I received a call about a large “ bruise” on my mother’s leg and whether I wanted the care home to phone for an ambulance. I instructed them that I would be there in a few minutes, thinking why would they call an ambulance for a bruise? This “bruise”was actually a cantaloupe-size blood pool on the outside of her leg. She was taken to hospital by ambulance, Dr refused to treat her because he said to me, “what do you want us to do? She is full of blood clots.” Her leg exploded as if it had been hit by a bomb and she passed away by 1 P.M. that same day. She was 96.
After that I totally refused all vaccination, lived my life as though Covid was same as a weekend hangover, never had Covid and still have not been ill one day since then while many vaccinated friends have had several recurrences and fairly severe symptoms. Hmmm.
