It’s only -25c can you imagine needing to plug in the tractor all night so the engine might be warm enough to start? And if it does start you also let it run for half an hour so the hydraulic oil warms up enough so I can use the loader so I can feed cows.

Normal I’d park the tractor in a heated shop but that didn’t happen.

Will be -40 here when sun comes up.
          Hoping for-25 maybe around 3pm .
Same Temps? Just at the opposite end.
Don't like the 40 at either end but ours is more dangerous.
          Pitty the animals.
Even in the shed not much relief.

Be lots of bad language when talking about the def today.

            High for the day.
Fairly cold when we don’t get above -30c in the bright sunshine but happens almost every winter so nothing new.
Looking at the temp now and it has come up 2 degrees to -31c

I just say, “ Thank God for natural gas and fossil fuels” and lots of them in the deep cold of January.

But take all the fossil fuels away from the turd and the turbin and let the, try surviving without.
