We need to pass some laws that stop people from participating in protests in favour of terrorist organizations. And if they do, then jail them all, and deport them all.

Time to build more jails.

The trouble with that is that one man's terrorist organization is the next man's freedom fighter. The freedom convoy being the perfect example. Many on the left we're calling them terrorists.
If a Left leading government were to enact such laws with the intention of shutting down their political opponents, then a right leaning government takes over, and uses it against their political opponents. Or vice versa.
